Zoo Studio is a project that was born from the vocation of two graphic artists that make their work
with an art and creation love vision.
From our eclecticism, we drink from different doctrines and artistic movements, swimming throug tendences like punk, retro, the urban thing... without ignoring the history and the burden of the classics. Our independence is defined by the capability to choose without fundamentalism.
Zoo Studio inquires into all the graphic proposals to offer originality in each product.
Our interdisciplinary point of view help us to understand accurately the diversity of our clients - their interests, style, feelings...- we think about them to get involved and offer high quality results. An example of this is the develope and monitoring of Teatro Leal in La Lagunaīs brand and conducting various magazines and promotions across the Atlantic sea.
We also feel proud of some awards, as the recently awarded for the best audiovisual promotion in the Shortfilm Festival from La Orotava.
Zoo isnīt just a graphic studio, thatīs why we participate in many graphic design and fine artsīs forums. And some of our works has been selected to participate in International Festivals.
Our intention is to continue pushing for a non-stereotypical image that accommodates to the different sensitivities and at the same time, launch to the world our own conceptual initiatives.

Compose, edit, build, play, experiment and manipulate to communicate for pure pleasure. Seeking an answer to communicate, whatever, so it is not about recognition or anything around it. It is merely a relief experiment in a very grateful form with a lot of love and good people.

Who am I? Iīm always doing this question to myself and still do not have the exact answer.
What I can answer is how I am, because I see it in me every day.
I am an explorer, a restless mind that is always searching and scrutinizing the reality that surrounds us and once assimilated, I flip it over, rethink about it and reinvent it...
I donīt conform with what there is, because what there is, is not just what there is, but what they want to make us believe that there is.
Iīve got many things to say, MANY; but I donīt always get the right words to do it. Thatīs why I like design, because it allows me to express myself, tell stories without having to speak or be justified on the verbiage.
What I do is what I am. Is who I am.

Oscar Lorenzo González Molina (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, España 1976).
My history starts as a student of Fernando Estevez fine arts School in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, although the first years I spent more time in the bench from outside than in class. I had my title as Draftsman and followed my studies in Graphic Design and Decoration as well as working as a decorator but never got finished the studies because of the lack of motivation due to educationīs poor quality at the center. Professionally engaged in the decoration and interiorīs projects development and even delineation work, my vocation has always been the drawing, which in some ways it makes me sad because I've never done it professionally.
At Fine Arts School I was lucky to match an entire generation of artists for which I am deeply influenced Maykel Lima, Iker Muro, Diego Mena and many others. All canarian, from the land and now are known for their work in disciplines such as photography, graphic design, graffiti, illustration and tattooing.
I am currently unemployed hoping to devote myself to the illustration discipline someday.

I am the smallest kid in class who is always drawing on his desk disregarding the teacher. I have drawn my Sancheski, Powell and Vision skateboards with Carioca markers and Tippex. Jumped to the computer world with Commodore, Spectrum, and MS2 and cried Kurt Cobainīs death. I am the child who was hated because I was surrounded by older kids, those who "rock". I smashed my face in a car crash and have risen to seek the inspiration that makes me feel
alive forever. Iīm pursued by the feelling of wanting to leave my trace wherever I go and I never stop seeking in the deepest of my brain for a shape that I canīt discern, characters who I donīt finally find, children who got lost one day playing in the park and didnīt come back anymore.

Born in 1975, without studies, is a happy fool. Lives with the only couple that has had and since 2 years with his son. One of the things that influences the most on his life is music. Enjoys creating and manipulating. He is currently working in construction, as a supervisor and lives in a 60 m2 "protección oficial" flat without balcony or ambition.
Wears fashion haicut, clear eyes, carefully neglected look, he is concerned about the trace sun is leaving on his skin after the long workday. Erotic writing lover, size doesnīt matter for him. 10 years ago, working as a courrier, met Maykel Lima and that changed his life.

In this sordid time there are still people who get up and light the fire of creation. Mario Fernández López, better known as Mankey is an artist who posseses this ability, an ability that looks and extends his view on reality for the purpose of transforming it and offer it to others, using either, a linen that catches a bird of robbery or sharing a mural with any passer-by who looks furtively.
In this search of the form, or shape, the color adds the wrapper of skin to the ceramic igloo, and his determination takes him to the harsh shout of a comedian on the verge of acting.
The one who creates, reveals, because of it, he decomposes the process of hominization into its elements and indicates like this the aspects that shape reality, which is, sometimes, deplorable.
It is this creative drive that takes us to of metabolize life and art becomes a necessary device that returns this contemplated reality to us.

Encarneviva, just as Manet, does not just present nude bodies. In fact, stricto sensu, Manet's Olympia was no other than a reinterpretation of Tiziano's appreciated Venus of Urbino. It was not the modelīs nude body what actually untied the scandal, it was her attitude. The defiant and direct look of a new venus reincarnated as a prostitute, this, and the damned black cat that he included in the painting.
We present Encarneviva with the same starting lines from Lewis Carroll's Alice Through the Looking Glass:
"One thing was certain, that the white kitten had had nothing to do with it: : -- it was the black kitten's fault entirely

As if your wardrobe was a case full of cutters.
Or cats mounting guard before your bedroom door, controlling curious callers.
Also, a drawer full of different-sized nozzles
And a liking for perfect women about to bite an unwelcome caller,
Elvis playing in the background and a door creaking open
A MAC screen projecting snow and interferences in a dark room.
Middle-aged ladies wearing hair rollers and playing at the ouija.
Stirred, not shaken.

Iīve lived in many places, in every one of them Iīve learned something. During the three years I lived in Tenerife, I learned to enjoy art in first person, plus many other valuable things that changed me deeply. Thatīs why, my actual life seems a lot like the kind of life I always wanted, but never had the courage to live.
I just can be thankful and invite you to visit my website, so you can see that change by yourself.
